This exhibit contains selected sections from the RCA Handbook for Projectionists, 2nd edition, published in 1930. The booklet covers all sound recording methods in use at the time, Vitaphone discs, Variable Density optical used by Western Electric and Fox Movietone, and, of course, the Variable Area optical sound pioneered by RCA. We wish to thank Roy Nollkamper for making this manual available.

There are 211 pages in this section.
