Just Downright Funny
Republic's Daniel Boone, Trail Blazer
Argentine poster. While this particular film was released in 1956, the "VastVision" name for ersatz wide-screen had been coined early in 1953. So it's not a ripoff of VistaVision since "VastVision" appeared in Republic trade ads a year and a half before Paramount premiered its first VistaVision feature.
Where's the VISTA?
A 1956 Italian film from the Romana studios. Cinepanscope, eh? Great. Just great. Pardon the poor image quality. We sometimes have to settle for less than perfect.
This is not a poster, it's a place holder. When something interesting shows up it will be put here. But it's got to be more interesting than a picture of Hedy Lamarr. The Curator has a thing for the beautiful Hedy. Come to think of it, the curator has a thing for lots of handsome women. Even his wives have been good looking.
