Technical manuals may not appeal to everyone. But no part of history, especially the development of motion pictures, can ignore the technology of the times. This manual, issued in December 1928, should provide fascinating and even entertaining diversion for anyone with an interest in film sound systems. The equipment covered includes both sound on disc and sound on film systems. Our special thanks to Frank Dubiel for making the information available, at great peril to his life. There are a total of 41 pages to this document, though only 37 carry page numbers. You can navigate through the document using the links at the bottom of each page.
