MOUNTING THE ULTRA PANATAR
  1. The ultra Panatar is supplied with a 36 pitch thread and can be screwed directly in any standard projection lenses. Screw the Panatar in until it shoulders and is firmly secured to the projection lens.

  2. If the projection lens does not have a 36 pitch thread, or if the lens is recessed too far back in the projector, adapter rings and extension tubes can be secured at your theatre supply house.
  1. If the projectionist prefers, the ultra Panatar can be clamped directly on the projection lens. These "clamp adapters" are available of a nominal cost from theater supply houses.

  2. Project white light on the screen. Position the two lenses until sharp focus is obtained. Then rotate the lenses until the corners of the projected frame are absolutely square. The registration ring may now be locked off.
